A place that is very very interesting for me is Nuwaraeliya Where I was born. In my childhood days I went to enjoy the mountain top in Piduruthalagala. Where the air is cool and breezy sweet with the scent of Eucaliptus as well as wild mint. Being at a height of 8281 feet above see level was extremely exhilarating. I will never forget it.

  1. The mountain air is always fresher - and good for you. Unfortunately not many of us are as lucky to be able to go or live there. Personally I prefer being by the ocean.

    Being 8281 feet above sea level is one thing, but imagine if you were at the top of Mount Everest! That would be even more exhilarating! Those Nepalese Sherpas (the mountain climbers) must get such a wonderful feeling every time they get to the peak. I heard that they do it so often that they don't need things like oxygen tanks to help them breathe anymore!

    Maybe that's a career you might want to look at someday - being a Sherpa.
